Totton Festival of Drama 2027
Enter our 2027 Festival
The festival team are working hard to make sure that all competing groups can put on their best possible production and really enjoy their festival experience - and in the Hanger Farm Arts Centre, you have perfect intimate space in which to perform.
As always, our one act play festival is open to all amateur drama groups, schools and colleges and we always love welcoming new groups to the festival as well as welcoming back old friends.
All performances must be between 20 and 55 minutes and contain a minimum of two speaking parts. The full rules for the Totton Festival can be found here.
Should you also wish to enter the national competition (the All England Theatre Festival) you must also make sure you adhere to their rules also.

Our 2027 Adjudicator: Tristan Marshall GoDA
Tristan Marshall is a very successful and popular adjudicator. He adjudicated the English Final of the AETF in 2026 and we are delighted to welcome him to Totton for our 2027 festival. He has a wealth of experience having undergone directing training at Shakespeare’s Globe and acting training with the RSC. In his professional life he was awarded his doctorate in Jacobean theatre history from the University of Cambridge and was made a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society in 2020 for his contribution to the study of early modern theatre. He currently lectures at Shakespeare’s Globe and teaches at Cambridge.
